Before I start i need to add that I used my previous life lesson to repair the starter on another Guzzi in the shop. A old El Dorado. I actually was testing something on this bike while working on the police Guzzi and shortly thereafter the starter stopped working! So I felt partially responsible. That starter actually had two grounds and two positive wires, but nonetheless it was diagnosed and fixed in just a couple minutes!
Okay the brakes are up next and frankly the only thing that is consistent with disk brakes is that they are a pain to bleed and everyone seems to have a different method. I am going to go ahead and rebuild the master cylinder for the rear and front left brake and hopefully just replace the fluid in the front brakes.
When complete I will post my method and how successful the rebuild was.
