1981 G5 Police Moto Guzzi

Received the G5 police guzzi in yesterday and went right to work on it.    First off it has only 540 miles on it.  The story behind it is that it was a Haitian Police model and a US contractor was working down there in the 80's and he was giving it to cruise around the island.   When he left he asked to buy it and they gave it to him.   It's in REALLY good shape. The windshield is missing, but from the looks of things it was well taken care of.   The tank and carbs looks like they were drained and are in excellent shape.

Wiring appears good, but the ignition is missing.  And as simply an old bike that has been sitting, it just needs to be cleaned up!   The brakes are sticking, etc.   I think the tires are original and look brand new... although they are probably like rocks.   Anyway here she is... all 1000cc's in its police glory!
